What to do if my alarm doesn’t go off? – Android

Restart your smartphone

The alarm may not go off because the OS may be unstable. Accordingly, if your alarm did not go off, try restarting your device first.
The phenomenon that we have confirmed are as follows: "The alarm ringing screen appears at the specified time, but we can’t hear the sound". If you are facing this issue, the issue will not be solved even if you re-install the app.

Use the latest version

JUKUSUI has been updated to address problems that occur in response to various systems and environmental changes. If you are using an old version of the app, the alarm may not go off due to a malfunction. So please make sure that you are using the latest version.

Check Alarm Volume on JUKUSUI

Make sure that the alarm volume is not zero in Alarm settings. JUKUSUI sounds an alarm at the volume set in Alarm settings, regardless of the volume on your device.

Grant permissions required

You have not granted permissions required to use JUKUSUI when "Permission required" is shown in Menu. Please read the explanations on the screen carefully and grant the permissions.

Do you use battery saving or task killer apps?

Task killer and power-saving apps may interfere with other app operations. If you use these apps, please exclude JUKUSUI from these app's operation lists.

Turn off alarms in the pre-installed clock app.

The pre-installed alarms and clock app may interfere with the operation of JUKUSUI. More specifically, simple turning on the alarm in the pre-installed clock app will prevent JUKUSUI from sounding. The only device we have been able to confirm this is the IDOL2S device made by ALCATEL, but it may be true for other devices as well. If this issue rings a bell, turn off the alarm in the pre-installed clock app.

Steps to deal with issues in the smartphones

The countermeasure differs depending on the devices or phone manufacturers you are using. Check the following topics with the device model you are using.
