What is Automatic Sleep Logging?

Automatic Sleep Logging is a feature that the app automatically records your bedtime and wake-up time even if you forget to tap the Bedtime button or even if sleep log appears to be incorrect. It is available on Android 10 or later smartphones.
When enabled, the app automatically records your bedtime and wake-up time. However, your snoring and the sensor will not be recorded.
Also, if there is existing sleep data, the data from automatic sleep logging will be discarded. Please use this feature just as a backup sleep log in case you forget to tap the Bedtime button.

Use with minimal power consumption

On Android 10 (or later) smartphones, the operating system (OS) manages the smartphone usage. JUKUSUI obtains the data and predicts your sleep rhythm using our own algorithm. Since it only collects data from the OS, the app consumes very little battery power and does not require communication.

The settings of the automatic sleep logging

On Android 10 or later, Automatic Sleep Logging will be shown by tapping "Automatic Sleep logging" menu of Other in General Settings.

Automatic Sleep Logging

When enabled, your bedtime and wake-up time are automatically saved if there is no existing sleep data (the app send you a notification when the data is saved). Please turn off if you don't want to use this feature.

Time in bed

You can adjust your bedtime and wake-up time to better match your own sleep habits. If your actual sleep hours are far outside of this range, no data will be saved.

Saved Sleep Data

When the sleep data is saved, the AUTO button is shown in the figure below. If your actual sleep hours are far outside of this range, edit the bedtime/wake-up time to better match your own sleep habits.
You can edit and adjust them on the AUTO screen.

Are you expecting?

Even if you are expecting the automatic sleep logging, the way of using this app has not changed. Please put your smartphone next to you pillow.
If you use your smartphone as usual before going to bed and upon waking up, the accuracy of the automatic sleep logging will improve. Conversely, if you do not touch your smartphone much before going to bed and waking up, or if you do not keep your smartphone next to your pillow, the accuracy will decrease.

Important Notice

The accuracy of the automatic sleep logging is not guaranteed because they are predicted results based on your smartphone usage managed by the OS.
Please note that the sleep data will not be logged if JUKUSUI cannot obtain usage data, if the OS does not collect usage data, or if the obtained usage data are not judged as your sleep.
