Effective June 1, 2023, the minimum operating system (OS) for JUKUSUI offered on the App Store will be iOS 13.x or higher. After Phase 1 and Phase 2 phases, JUKUSUI iOS 10.x to 12.x support will be ended. Please read through the following information for users who are using JUKUSUI that are scheduled to be no longer supported.
Phase 1 – Preparation
Period: June 27, 2022 – May 31, 2023
OS Version: iOS 10.x～12.x
App: JUKUSUI in the App Store (iOS)
Implementation: in-app purchases and updates will no longer be provided.
During Phase 1, JUKUSUI iOS 10.x～12.x will continue to be available for users and they will be able to reinstall the app. However, some features may not be available due to our future modifications. We will not be able to fix the problem on the target OS, we recommend that you upgrade the OS or replace the device with one that supports the new OS.
How to check the iOS version
You can check the iOS version from the Settings app on your iPhone.
① Open the Settings app.
② Tap General, and then tap About.
* The display contents may differ depending on the OS version. If you do not know how to check the version or if you want to know if you can update the OS, please contact Apple or your provider of telecommunications services.
For users considering switching smartphones to the new ones
- This service securely stores your Sleep Log on a dedicated server. By signing up for Cloud Service (free) on the app, you can transfer the data from your old device to the new one. To learn more about the cloud service, check this article.
- Your JUKUSUI purchase history is managed by the Apple ID. As long as you use the same Apple ID when you purchased paid feature (JUKUSUI Premium and paid sounds), you will be able to use them on the new smartphone.
Phase 2 – End of Support

App: JUKUSUI in the App Store (iOS)
Implementation: End of offer JUKUSUI iOS 10.x to 12.x
As of Phase 2 on June 1, 2023, we will no longer provide JUKUSUI iOS 10.x～12.x and the minimum OS for JUKUSUI will be iOS 13.x on the App Store.
Please note that even if the OS expired, it will not automatically cancel your JUKUSUI Premium membership. To cancel your premium subscription on your side, please check this article.
